BIOGRAPHY
Lon
Johnson, in his incredible career, is one of the few straight male
performers who could open an adult film. Typically the box covers of
his VHS tapes and later his DVDs would feature just Lon in his
trademark poses and instead of listing the female stars it would say
"See Lon with hot women." Lon Johnson is not a stage name. Some
people were just simply born to act.
Born in
Manitoba, in the early 1960s, Lon's father protested Canada's refusal
to get involved in the Vietnam War by illegally bringing his family
into the United States. (All legal issues have since been
resolved and Lon and his mother can travel back and forth between
the two nations).
Soon
after high school, Lon had the chance to break into the Adult
Cinema, after he broke into an Adult Cinema, and the proprietor
offered him a job. After a stint in the Navy, while performing
in a children's theatre production, Lon got his second chance.
A producer saw him play a lion and offered him an audition for a skin-tacular.
Once
established, it was "The Little Tramp(s)" series that really made
Lon Johnson's name. The first intentionally silent
pornographic movie since sound entered the adult industry, it was
popular all around the world, including France, Germany, and other
places where English is a second language.
One
minor hit for Lon was "Party in the Lincoln Bedroom" in which Lon
made love to the ghost of Mary Todd Lincoln--a full two years before
"Ghost!" In 1990, Lon filmed "Nineteen Eighty Porn", a
futuristic film set six years in the past, in which sex was illegal.
His
final lead performance, to date, was as the lone male in "Island of
Insatiable Lust", which, although not a financial success, brought
Lon his best reviews as an actor. Unfortunately no footage has
survived.
