TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
When Socrates
taught Plato and Plato taught Aristotle, I like to think that like
me, they didn't use teaching assistants. People learn better
from a teacher. So that's how I teach--directly to my
students. I don't write a book, get it published, then make
them buy the book, read it and learn that way.
If something is
going wrong in class--I correct it. This is another key to
teaching. I am not a hands off, Laissez-faire type. I
say that's lazy and not fair--to my students.

Don't trust
me--read one more testimonial:
Lon is just an incredible mentor!
In just a few weeks, he gave me the techniques I needed to truly
bare my soul on screen. I feel like I can do anything now. Even
the most
challenging scenes don't intimidate me: I feel just as confident in
a daisy chain as I do in a jacuzzi scene from Hamlet (Lon says it
was implied in the original version).
I'm signing up for another session today, so I can clear up some
persistent questions I have about the origins of adult theatre and
the integration of method acting into water activities. I just
can't wait to learn
more!"
