THE INDUSTRY!

Ever see a sex scene in an adult film with horrible acting?  It ruined it, didn't it?  That's what I'm focused on changing.  When I began in The Industry, people cared.  While they lit the set, actors would rehearse their lines.  Now because video is so easy to light, there's no time to rehearse, let alone keep a character notebook of their internal life.  If Stanislavski were alive to see an adult film he would be ashamed--for how the actor is treated.

If you're in The Industry, you should prepare yourself for a tidal wave of change that's gonna come from The Lon Johnson School of Acting.  Because I, Lon Johnson, am mad.  And I've been watching Braveheart and taking notes.

Once I'm done, no more will you see adult actors who don't know their lines, are obviously looking at the director for direction or seem to just be going through the motions.  No more will the director talk during the action because he knows they'll just have to dub over everything because the lead actress couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.  A guttural moan shouldn't just come from the actors gut--it should come from the actor's soul.
